I can not tell you how much I love outdoor family sessions. I could shoot these types of sessions all day as I can never predict where the shoot will take us. Just like my other sessions I aim to make this session fun and all about capturing natural connections and moments as opposed to staged poses.

I am happy to travel to any location of your choice. Outdoor photography is all about light so shooting at the perfect time of day is key! You could choose your local park, go a jaunt to the beach or even a drive to the mountains (which is never disappointing).

When it comes to styling these sessions I aim to stick to an earthy colour palette which keeps a nice flow between all family members taking part in the session.  Avoiding bold patterns and bright colours is highly recommended. 

​

Like my other sessions I let the child take the lead, I let them wander and see what magic they can find.  I act like a fly on the wall almost whilst guiding the parents get in close to capture those special moments.  I bring along a bag of tricks to help keep your little one occupied incase being out in the wild isn't enough for them!
